Wine Tasting in Livermore on Easter Sunday

Are you in the mood for a little Livermore wine tasting this weekend? According to the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association, the following Livermore wineries will be open for Easter:

Bent Creek Winery
Big White House Winery
Cedar Mountain Winery
Deer Ridge Vineyards
el Sol Vineyard
Elliston Vineyards
Garre Winery

On Saturday, April 3 at 12 noon, Cedar Mountain Winery in Livermore will be hosting a "Good Old Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt" among the vineyards. Parents are invited to bring their children ... and their Easter baskets! The hunt begins at noon for toddlers (5 and under) and 12:30 for older kids. If you plan to attend, please call the Easter Bunny at (925) 373-6636 and let him know how many children to expect. The tasting room will be open from noon to 4pm, where wines can be purchased by the glass or bottle.

Garre Winery is planning an Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 4 from 10am to 1:30pm. The cost is $39.99 for adults, $16.99 for children 7 to 13 years of age, and $9.99 for children 6 and under. This includes an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet with a childrens' waffle station and unlimited champagne for adults. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for a Golden Egg hunt, weather permitting. Reservations are required, so please call (925) 371-8200 to reserve a space (and an Easter basket!)
